As an owner of most their albums, I can say that this one is basic Brooks & Dunn. Their last album -- Hillbilly Deluxe -- included some classic gems and was probably their best overall album. This disc does not rise to that standard, but they still produce some good toe-tapping songs. The songs have pretty standard themes and standard rythyms. (I had a similar reaction to Brad Paisley's "5th Gear" -- a very good album, but not at the level of "Time Well Wasted.")If you are just getting introduced to Brooks & Dunn, I would point you first towards Hillbilly Deluxe and then their two greatest hits albums.
